The tap water that everyone drinks is full of chemicals and we are constantly digesting them. Charcoal filters eliminate a good deal of these chemicals, but nowhere near enough. Even though you are filtering your water, chemicals, even a very small amount, are still being absorbed daily into our bodies.
Scheme water is also subjected to being pumped through pipes by electric motors which are generating intense electromagnetic fields creating a “dead” water that we ingest, having a negative effect on our bodies. This leads to an increase in the proliferation of free radicals in our drinking water, contributing to cellular aging. Not good!
For a long time, the benefits of Shungite water have been known to the locals of Karelia in Russia.
See my other blog on the “History Of Shungite” here.
Shungite has the ability to clean water from almost all organic compounds (including pesticides), metals, bacteria and harmful microorganisms. Experiments were undertaken with Shungite being introduced into water contaminated with Streptococcus A and D. The results of the experiment showed that after half an hour the Shungite had reduced the concentration of Streptococcus D in the water by the factor of 100 and Streptococcus A by the factor of 900! Shungite eliminates or reduces various chlorine compounds, nitrates, copper, magnesium, iron, cleans up visually dirty water and eliminates taste, after all water should be tasteless!
We have Elite as well as regular Shungite that you can use to make Shungite water.
Elite - 50g for 1 litre of water
Regular - 100g for 1 litre of water
To prepare 1 litre of Shungite Water please follow these simple steps.
Wash your Shungite to remove any dust and loose material under the tap.
Place place the Shungite in a glass container or water jug.
Let stand for 48-72 hours
Ready to drink - easy
I find it best to prepare 2 Shungite water jugs. One that I am drinking from, the other one standing in preparation to be consumed.
It is recommended to drink a glass a day. if you are in good health. If you are in poor health or recovering from sickness, then it is recommended to drink 2 to 3 glasses a day.
Once a month, take a weeklong break from drinking the water.
As Shungite will never take on a negative charge, there is nothing to do to cleanse your stones. However, to keep them physically clean, i.e. free from nitrates and chlorine etc, pop them outside in the sun for a few hours every 3 to 4 months. We recommend every 2 years to replace the stones. Throw them onto the garden so your plants can benefit from the Shungite.
We supply our Shungite in bags. The Shungite can be tipped out of the bags and put into a water jug. As the Shungite is quite small, there is a choking hazard if you drink directly out of a water bottle with loose Shungite in the bottle. We advise against putting loose Shungite directly into your water bottle, unless you are using a straw type bottle or some other bottle where you will not have direct contact with the Shungite.
